FAQ

Do you accept stained glass customs? Not at the moment. Customs have proven to be very time consuming and stressful. Stained glass as a medium can be limiting and sometimes a customers vision just can't be translated into glass.

How do you determine pricing? I try to take into account size, complexity (number of pieces), and material cost. The more lead lines in a piece, the more exspensive the window.

How do I hang my piece?
Always hang stained glass from a sturdy nail or hook.  Never use suction cups to hang your stained glass.

Is leaded stained glass safe?
Lead is typically absorbed through inhalation of fumes or ingestion of dust.  Leaded stained glass poses more of a risk to the artisan who made it than it does to the person simply hanging it in their home.  Should you need to touch your piece; be aware that there may be sharp edges and wash your hands after handling.   Avoid hanging in areas accessible to pets and children.

Is your jewlery lead free?  What if I have metal allergies?
Yes! I use lead free solder (an alloy consisting of copper, silver, and tin) on all of my jewlery pieces. To keep my jewelry affordable, I use many different metals in my pieces.  Findings materials are listed in each piece.  Typically chains, jumprings, and clasps are stainless steel.  Earring hooks are sterling silver, hoop earrings are silver plated.  Metal backings are made of zinc.  Please reach out with questions about metals used in a piece.

How do I clean my stained glass?
Use a dry microfiber cloth to polish your piece.  Avoid using products like windex as the alcohol an ammonia can damage the piece.  Oxidation and corrosion on windows are normal.

How do I care for my jewlery?
Do not exspose jewlery to water.  The glass used is incredibly thin to keep the jewlery light weight, unfortunately this means my jewelry is fragile and can crack if dropped.  Use caution when handling and always wear earring backs.  Use a dry microfiber cloth to clean jewlery.  Avoid products like windex as the alcohol and ammonia can damage the piece.

My jewlery broke, do you offer repairs?
I am more than happy to repair any damaged jump rings or hooks free of charge (you just pay shipping and handling).  Unfortunatly I am unable to repair broken glass in my jewlery without creating the piece all over again.  I am happy to repair cracked jewlery for a small repair fee.

My stained glass window broke, do you offer repairs?
I am happy to asses the broken window and give a repair quote.  Please note that some glass cannot be replaced exactly and multiple options will be given in that scenario.

Do you do stained glass restoration?
I offer restoration work  in the state of Minnesota only. My pricing starts at $275 a square foot. Contact me for quote.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Due to the handmade nature of my work,  I am unable to offer returns or exchanges and all sales are final.  Please contact me if you have any issues with a piece you have purchased.

What is your shipping policy?
Unfortunately, I only offer shipping to the US.  I am a one bb operation and am doing my best as I navigate selling my art online.  It is my goal for orders be shipped within the week that they are placed.  I am eternally grateful for your patience as I figure out how to run a buisness <3
